My name is Donovan,

I started Summit Production Company from my love of marketing and filmmaking. When I was a young teenager I received a digital camera as a gift from my grandmother. That gift proved to make a big difference in my life and passion. I used that little camera to film projects around the house, make videos of my go karts and camping trips, I’d even set the camera up in front of the TV to record clips from my favorite movies to edit into my own movie trailers.

Since then I’ve always been filming and taking pictures. In high school, I found an interest in the world of marketing. If there was ever an excuse to make a video for a particular project, I did it.

For the last several years I’ve been working and studying in video production. I run my own blog and YouTube channels documenting my passion for the outdoors and cars. A perfect amalgamation of my hobby, marketing and filmmaking. In the constant effort to increase the quality of my work, I relentlessly consumed education in books as well as learning from other filmmakers whose work I admire through courses and coaching.

I’ve now reached a point where I would like to use what I’ve learned and continue learning, to help other businesses keep up with the ever changing world of online marketing. In the last several years, the shift to video focused content online and especially on social media platforms has been staggering.
